Do you find it tiring to climb down your ladder and clean your windows? You can answer no but, let’s face it, you lie.
It can be difficult to keep windows clean. I have put together four tips and tricks along with some safety tips.
-
Mop sparkling glass
A mop is all you need to keep your windows sparkling clean throughout the year. You don’t even have to do much. Combine one part vinegar and one part water in a bowl.
Attach a micro-fibre cloth to the handle of your mop and seal it. Use the solution to clean the windows. Only proceed to the next step after the majority of the curd is gone.
Wipe the glass with a microfiber cloth or a streak free window cleaner.
Once you’re done, let the windows dry. To ensure streak-free results, rub a newspaper onto the grass. That’s it! You have now a safe and easy way to clean your windows set while still getting a new shine.
-
Use a squeegee
Workers might have used a squeegee to clean out large corporate windows. You might have seen them using a squeegee to clean out large corporate windows.
Safety is a key factor in this situation. That’s why it’s best to avoid using a mop because it requires a lot of energy (if you’re smart, you’re aware).
An extendable squeegee is also possible to be extended up to several meters, so you don’t need to do any special moves to clean your windows. Squeegees can be used to clean windows even if they are at lower levels.
Use this method to dampen the pad. Then, use a flat, rubber brush to clean the windows.
-
Magnetic window cleaner
This article is designed to help you clean difficult-to-reach windows, which can prove dangerous. Magnetic window cleaners are a great option.
This clever cleaning tool quickly cleans your window panels of dirt and grime. Magnetic pulls can be used to clean the sides of your window. This is a much easier task than using other tools.
It cleans your windows evenly and removes any liquid cleaning fluid. Although it may seem a bit complicated at first, once you get used to it, you’ll soon be comfortable with the process.
-
Clean up the areas that are not checked
This cleaning method will not work if there is replacement window glass. This cleaning method might work well for you if you have removable windows. Seriously!
Start by opening your windows half-open. If the window does not come out easily, do not push it. Instead, search for the obstruction. Next, lift the panel with both hands. Don’t break any glass. Ask for help if it is too large.
Deep clean your pants with a microfibre cloth. You can use any of the techniques above to clean the windows.
Common Mistakes
-
Cleansing on a sunny day
It is not a good idea to clean windows on a bright sunny day. The liquid could dry too quickly and you might end up with marks from the cloth or the squeegee instead of clear glass.
-
Spraying dirt
Spray the liquid on dirty windows before you start cleaning them. This will stick dirt to the glass more and require more work to clean them. To ensure that your windows are clean and free from stubborn dirt, use a microfiber cloth.
-
Not using a sufficient amount
If you only use 4 ounces of spray, don’t expect to see a crystal clear window set. This is not possible. Don’t forget to buy a high-quality cleaning spray if you want to make an investment.
-
Use old rags for cleaning
When used for cleaning, old rags can release tiny threads that can stick to wet window panels. You should use a microfiber cloth for cleaning.
You don’t have to worry about dirty or safe windows if these tips are followed.
